Eight 1935 - 1938

Back to main list

Following on from the successful Minor the Eight was introduced for the 1935 model year. It had a new engine which was to continue through to the first of the postwar Minors. Unfortunately the four speed Minor gearbox was replaced by a three speed box with a large gap between second and third.

The picture shows a 1935 pre-series four door sliding head saloon.
